What We Do
At The Rockhill Cooking Academy we cook, learn about ingredients, learn the history of meals and dishes and study and prepare foods. We study the botanical legacies of plants and incorporate all of that new knowledge into a fabulous menu. We spend most of the time preparing foods we've learned about, and some of the time eating and having a blast!
All recipes have been tested and are healthy and delicious. Each class focuses on a unique theme that has been developed especially for kids and young adults. By learning to choose seasonal all organic fruits and vegetables along with a good foundation of simple recipes, anyone can be a chef!
• Winter/Spring Classes:
Saturday, January 24th: Every Day Meals Shopping tour of the market, and returning to prepare several easy weeknight meals for one or a big family. This class is full.
Saturday, February 21st: Southern Italian Pizza One of our favorite classes! We will be making pizza, Southern Style- very different from Northern Italian pizza. Join us to learn some of Naples finest recipes! This class is full.
Saturday, March 21st: Market Tour Cooking Class This class is full.
Thursday, March 26st: Saint Mary's Hall Cooking Class
This class is full.
Saturday, April 11th: Cheap Meals for Rich Tastes This class is full.
Saturday, May 9th: Senior's Dorm Cooking Class This class is full.
